SPARK-EX booster systems are engineered to supply water at the precise volume and pressure required by the nozzles within the SPARK-EX Spark Detection and Extinguishing system. The primary function of the booster system is to ensure that the extinguishing medium is delivered with sufficient force and coverage to neutralise ignition sources, such as sparks and embers, effectively.
To achieve optimal extinguishing performance, the booster system is configured to maintain a continuous and stable supply of pressurised water. The standard operational pressure is 7 Bar (approximately 100 PSI). This consistent pressure ensures that the water nozzles atomise the water into a fine mist, which is essential for rapidly cooling and extinguishing ignition sources before they can propagate.
